Kent, Hannah, Allison, Ben, and family, I’m praying for you during this difficult time. Tamera was such a blessing at Cental Baptist Church, especially in the JoyBells. Heaven has gained a beautiful, intelligent, talented angel. May God comfort you with many wonderful memories.

I really loved getting to know Tamera during JoyBells choir practice at Central Baptist in Warner Robins. Every week she had a story to share about Kent or one of her children. She did not brag but rather was showing a wifely or motherly love for those in her family. Having Allison play with us also was such a treat and showed the depth of the musical talents of the Price family. When y’all moved to Pooler, not only did we lose cherished members of our church, but I also lost my eye doctor. I’m having eye surgery next month and wished I had Tamera to answer questions I have because she could always explain things in ways I could really understand. She was so highly intelligent. Tamera was truly a Christian woman who set an example for her children to follow. She spoke highly of her new church in Savannah, and I thank all members there for taking care of Tamera and the Price family during these difficult times. She is with God now where cancer and chemotherapy are nonexistent, and He will help her oversee her beloved husband and children. Our prayers are with you.

I was a childhood friend of Tammy, what we called her back then, but unfortunately did not stay in touch into our adult years. I was not surprised to see what an amazing woman, wife, and mother she grew into, since even as a youth she always had a love for God and focus of what she wanted in life. She was always bright, kind, and willing to share her faith, gentle direction, and insight to others when she felt it would be of help. We spent a lot of time together in our tween/teen years and I thought of her as a wonderful friend that I was lucky to have. It hurt my heart to hear of her passing and what a loss I know it is to her family and those who knew her. She was a blessing and I pray for those feeling her loss at this difficult time. I have faith in what she gave each person during her life, will live on in them as they move through the challenging days ahead and sorrow turns into loving, warm memories.

So sorry to hear that Tamera was taken by this illness. She certainly was a vital part of our Music ministry here at Central. I had the opportunity to sit next to her in practice or performance. Enjoyed singing next to her and singing our hearts out. I always enjoyed keeping up with the kids and hearing about their plans for college. Tamera left a piece of herself here at Central as she served, so well. I know each of you will miss her deeply. May the cherished memories give you comfort in the days ahead. She was a great servant.
